A light professional peel, chosen for your skin on the day. Added to The Signature or The Treatment.
A chemical peel is a measured acid solution, lactic, mandelic or a blend, applied for a few minutes to loosen the dead surface layer. The skin sheds it over the following days and what comes through is more even, smoother and brighter.
Light flaking for two to four days. Tightness the first day. No actives, no sun, gentle cleanser only.
Three ways to exfoliate
| Best for | How it feels | Days after | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Hydrodermabrasion | Clogged pores, rough texture | Water and light suction | None |
| Ultrasonic Exfoliation | Reactive skin with buildup | A smooth vibrating edge | None |
| Dermaplaning | Peach fuzz, dull surface | A light blade, like a close shave | None |
| Chemical peel | Dark spots, uneven tone | A warm tingle for a few minutes | Two to four days of flaking |
Not with a light peel. Expect fine flaking, like dry skin, for a few days.
All three exfoliate. A peel works chemically and reaches tone and spots. Dermaplaning is mechanical and immediate. Hydrodermabrasion clears pores with water and suction. The comparison below says which fits what.
Not during pregnancy, with active cold sores, or within six months of isotretinoin.
